Islamabad we (Web Desk) Pakistan Electronic Media eThe 11 people who were banned from appearing on TV Authority (PEMRA) has banned 11 fugitives and advertising persons from being shown on TV. Among the people who have been banned are politicians and journalists, PEMRA has banned 11 people. Banning showing on electronic media has said that according to court orders, fugitives and advertising persons are not allowed to be shown on TV.
According to ARY News, the people who have been banned include Syed Akbar Hussain, Sabir Shakir, Moeed Pirzada, Wajahat Saeed, Adil Farooq Raja. Apart from this, Haider Raza Mehdi, Shaheen Sohbai, PTI leaders. Ali Nawaz Awan, Farrukh Habib, Murad Saeed and Hammad Azhar are included.
Pemra has directed that the coverage of such people on electronic media is prohibited, any kind of news, statements related to such persons should be avoided.
