| Spelling error on currency notes, notes worth billions of rupees lost |
It has identified six spelling and grammatical errors on the currency notes, which has directed the State Bank to correct these errors within 60 days.
The federal ombudsman heard the complaint of Shahzad Faizi, during which the representatives of State Bank of Pakistan admitted these mistakes.
After admitting the mistakes, the federal ombudsman has issued orders to the State Bank to remove the mistakes within 60 days and not to repeat these mistakes on new currency notes.
Shahzad Faizi said that the currency notes are the identity of our country, the source of our recognition, when I considered these currency notes, I found that they are only four short lines and there are twenty words in these four lines with six mistakes. There are, so I thought that these errors should be fixed.

کے کرنسی نوٹوں پر املا اور گرامر کی چھ غلطیوں کی نشاندہی کردی، جس پر اسٹیٹ بینک کو حکم دیا گیا ہے کہ 60 روز میں ان غلطیوں کو درست کیا جائے۔
شہزاد فیضی کی شکایت پر وفاقی محتسب نے سماعت کی، اس دوران اسٹیٹ بنک آف پاکستان کے نمائندوں کی جانب سے ان غلطیوں کا اعتراف کیا گیا۔
غلطیوں پر اعتراف کے بعد وفاقی محتسب نے اسٹیٹ بینک کو 60 روز میں غلطیاں دور کرنے اور نئے کرنسی نوٹ پر یہ علطیاں نہ دہرانے کے احکامات جاری کیے ہیں۔
شہزاد فیضی نے کہا کہ کرنسی نوٹ ہمارے ملک کی شناخت ہیں، ہماری پہچان کا زریعہ ہیں، ان کرنسی نوٹوں پر جب میں نے غور کیا تو معلوم ہوا کہ یہ صرف چار مختصر سطریں ہیں اور ان چار سطروں میں بیس لفظ ہیں جن میں چھ غلطیاں ہیں، تو مجھے خیال آیا کہ ان غلطیوں کو ٹھیک ہونا چاہیے۔
