Russian cosmonauts became the longest-lived humans in space

 Moscow: An astronaut from Russia has set a record for spending the most days in space.

According to media reports, Oleg Kononenko set a world record when he became the first person to spend a total of 1000 days in space.

The Russian space agency Roscosmos issued a statement in which it said that cosmonaut Oleg Kononenko, who is currently working on the International Space Station, has completed 1,000 days of space flight for the first time in the world. A record has been made.

Oleg has been on 5 different missions, including 3 as commander to the International Space Station. Former medical officer of NASA, Emmanuel Arroquita, said that such a record can only be set by a special kind of person. That's a really long time, but I think we'll see records of more days in the future.

میڈیا رپورٹس کے مطابق اولیگ کونونینکو نے اس وقت عالمی ریکارڈ اپنے نام کروالیا جب وہ خلا میں کل 1000 دن گزارنے والے پہلے انسان بن گئے۔

روسی خلائی تنظیم Roscosmos نے اس حوالے سے بیان جاری کیا جس میں اس کا کہنا تھا کہ خلاباز اولیگ کونونینکو، جو اس وقت بین الاقوامی خلائی اسٹیشن پر کام کررہے ہیں، نے خلائی پرواز کے مجموعی دورانیے کے لحاظ سے دنیا میں پہلی بار ایک ہزار دن کا ریکارڈ بنایا ہے۔

اولیگ بین الاقوامی خلائی اسٹیشن پر بطور کمانڈر 3 سمیت 5 مختلف مشنوں پر جاچکے ہیں۔ ناسا کے سابق میڈیکل آفیسر ایمانوئل اروکیٹا کا کہنا تھا کہ ایسا ریکارڈ قائم کرنے والا کوئی خاص قسم کا انسان ہی ہوسکتا ہے۔ یہ واقعی ایک طویل وقت ہے تاہم مجھے لگتا ہے کہ ہم مستقبل میں اس سے زیادہ دنوں کے ریکارڈ دیکھ سکیں گے۔
