In the first one-day match of the series being played in Bulawayo, 6 players of Pakistan returned to the pavilion against Zimbabwe in pursuit of a target of 206 runs. 


Before the rain, Pakistan scored 60 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in 21 overs, with Mohammad Rizwan and Aamir Jamal at the crease.


When Pakistan started batting in pursuit of the target, opener Abdullah Shafiq lost his wicket on a total score of 11 while Saeem Ayub was dismissed on a score of 17. Abdullah Shafiq scored one run and Saeem Ayub scored 11 runs.


Zimbabwe's batting

In the match, in the first one-day match of the series, the Zimbabwe openers tried to play aggressively, but on a total score of 40, Jewelward Gumbi was run out by Abdullah Shafiq on an individual score of 15, while Devon Myers was the guest for 8 runs.


Captain Craig Irvine 6 and Tadevanshe Marumani 29, Shaun Williams 23, Brian Bennett 20, Brendan Mauta 1 while Blessing Mazarbani returned to the pavilion for 0. Sikandar Raza and Richard Nagarwa established a partnership of 62 runs in the partnership of the eighth wicket, but Raza scored 39 runs and fell victim to Faisal Akram.


Richard Nagerwa played a resistance innings of 48 runs for the team which included 5 fours and a six.
